SUNDAY PRAISE

Father, one our favorites went to be with you last week.

We thank you for his life, his talent, his ministry and his faith.

We thank you for his testimony.

Father, we are poorer for having lost him, richer for having had him among us and we look forward to seeing him again as he praises you throughout eternity.

As he sat at the piano play one of the century's greatest songs, we know he was doing what he loved. Would that each of us could come into your eternal presence doing that which we love the most.

Thank you, Father, for lending us Anthony Burger.

We anticipate the time when, with him, we shall behold Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
