I would like for a person, who believes that evolutionary forces produced the variety of living things on earth today, to point me to a scientific article demonstrating that any of the trillions to the trillionth power of single-celled bacteria, amoeba, or viruses, having mutated to their hearts'* content, have ever been seen to evolve into anything other than another bacteria, amoeba or virus.
Please include the publication's name, the name of the article and the date of the article.

*Yes, I am aware that in a technical sense they do not have hearts as we understand them.
