At some levels, I fear for our country, because of how many people can't seem to understand that very simple fact: the enemy are those who are beheading "infidels", not those who are killing the beheaders.
At other levels, I have confidence that our countrymen and countrywomen, in sufficient numbers, realize the truth and mobilize against the forces of evil, under God's direction and protection.
jeff h: I totally agree with you on point one, however, I'm not real firm in my confidence in our fellow countrymen and countrywomen.
Hopefully there is a "silent majority" who gets it.

If Mr. Chavez and Mr. Admadinijad are casting slurs at President Bush, I can't think he is that bad.
What I find disturbing is the beaurocrats that are willing to use these insults for their political advantage.
We should really be praying for our leaders; they are not perfect and are subject to the same temptations as the rest of us.

There are a number of issues on which I disagree with our President, but terrorism is not one of them.
I wish he had the liberty to put an old-fashioned Texas roundup on those hammer-knockers. Then we could string up Osama by his Buster Browns.
i agree with your comments joe. really bugs me to see some of the conspiracy theories especially surrounding 9-11.we live on a small island here and lost a few young men(part of the canadian force) in the war on terror in afghanistan. we'll probably loose more but at least we know what were fighting and fighting for.
