Sunday Praise

Father in Heaven, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, Christ, we join our voices in a joyous song of praise to you.

We praise you from the depths of our hearts, 'till the very air around us is saturated with your praise.

To you whose leadership and guidance is our mainstay, whose love will continue forever, we give our worship and adoration.

When this life draws its last breath, our praise will continue throughout eternity. And when we find ourselves at home in your home, we will continue to sing praises for you alone are worthy.

Come, Christians, Join to Sing
by Christian H. Bateman

Come, Christians, join to sing,
Alleluia! Amen!
Loud Praise to Christ our King;
Alleluia! Amen!
Let all, with heart and voice,
Before His throne rejoice;
Praise is His gracious choice:
Alleluia! Amen!

Come, lift your hearts on high;
Alleluia! Amen!
Let praises fill the sky;
Alleluia! Amen!
He is our Guide and Friend;
To us He'll condescend;
His love shall never end;
Alleluia! Amen!

Praise yet our Christ again,
Alleluia! Amen!
Life shall not end the stain;
Alleluia! Amen!
On heaven's blissful shore
His goodness we'll adore,
Singing forever more,
Alleluia! Amen!

Frequently at my church on Easter, we'll sing this hymn--and on the words "Alleluia, amen" everybody will ring a bell they've been instructed to bring from home just for that purpose. Too cool.
